Ford Mustang is hitting new sale records this year. It is the number one selling sports car in the world for the first half of 2015. Ford sold 86,769 Mustangs in the first eight months of the year. Mustang sales are accelerating on wide availability of the latest generation.
"Initial global response to the Mustang has been strong, and we are only in second gear," said Ford global marketing and sales VP Stephen Odell. "We continue accelerating production and global reach with right-hand-drive models now coming out of the plant."
The RHD variant will allow the Mustang to reach more than 100 global markets for the first time, including the UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
